It’s been a while. Again.
A while since I put pen to paper – so to speak.
Life, it seems, is so hectic—the out of control crazy where it is hard to catch your breath. Like you are interval running, starting with a quick sprint. Running as fast as you physically can until you can’t breathe, then you slow to a little walk. But before you can catch your breath fully, the timer kicks off, and the personal trainer is yelling at you to sprint again.
It’s a metaphor clearly because I haven’t exercised cardio-style in a long time.
I know I am not the only one feeling this. I know so many of us stuck in this hustle – like a tumble dry cycle that won’t stop except to spin occasionally.
Single moms, career women, working moms, stay at home moms, dad moms. We are all feeling it.
So, this is just your reminder to allow time, some purposeful time, to just breathe. To inhale until your chest blows out fully and the anxiety sitting there becomes full of air. Then breathe it out.
That’s it.
They are the words I have to say.
They’re not much, but they’re important.
